SIMEON Commercial Properties purchased the 17 acre Hiram
Walker Bottling Facility for adaptive reuse to office
and manufacturing in a joint venture with TA Realty. The
site was subdivided so that a portion could be developed
for a build-to-suit for sale client. The redevelopment
of the bottling facility included replacing numerous docks
with glass and adding architectural features and landscaping.
Metropolitan Furniture moved its headquarters to the site,
including its corporate offices and an elaborate showroom.
The United States Postal Service chose the site because
of its proximity to the San Francisco Airport. |
